This question came up live on a panel I was on recently (shoutout to @highvibe.women for an amazing event!), and I knew right away it needed to become a podcast episode. Because most of the time, this isn’t really a branding question. It’s a question about capacity, growth, visibility, money, and what kind of business you actually want to run. A reminder from someone who literally teaches soci A reminder from someone who literally teaches social media for a living:  Ahem…. The highlight reel is real. But it’s not the whole story, okay?  So this weekend I spoke at two events that were genuinely wonderful. The photos and videos I shared all weekend are joyful because the moments were joyful. It was honestly amazing.  And and and… What you didn’t see was the cold I was getting over, the stress of life lifing, and the very real decision fatigue from some big life stuff happening behind the scenes.  Both versions are true. I was both happy and exhausted. I was glad to be there and wanted to leave. I was excited for opportunity and nervous to speak.  Social media shows the moment. Life holds the context.  And sometimes showing up while things are so effing messy is the real win.

I got an adorbs caricature make by @caricature.dani who was at @iamnikkimck’s booth. I spoke on a panel about scaling with ease alongside @kimberley.hiebert @efvlegal and @allthingsmeghoule. I got to see @moniquebryan_co speak again. And meet and see so many amazing people again.  Oh and I already got my ticket for next year because wow this was amazing.  Huge shoutout to @kristina.bartold and @_mariatassi for hosting us. And special thanks to @thepearlehotel as their staff was top tier.
