Community Coordinator

We are a boutique social media marketing agency that delivers done-for-you services to coaches, consultants, thought leaders, and passion-led online business owners. We also teach social media strategies in our online membership program and through our podcast.

We are looking for a Community Coordinator for our programming side of the business at the Savvy Social School.

This role is a contract role and we estimate that you’ll spend 5-10 hours per week with us with room to grow.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

Live Call Facilitation

  • Leading Live Calls for the Savvy Social School
  • Monthly Orientation Call
    1st Monday of each month
  • Weekly Coworking Session
    TBD
  • Quarterly Planning sessions
    TBD
  • Supporting live calls for the Savvy Social School and for Thrive
  • Monthly Strategy Hours
    Andrea's - Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 11 am
    Julie's - Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 2 pm ET
  • Weekly Thrive Calls
    Every Thursday at 11 am ET

Supporting Members in our Community

  • Creating a weekly support thread
  • Commenting on the posts of our community members
  • Direct messaging members to check-in
  • Supporting and participating in the 6 challenges we host every year
  • Help our members find the resources they need from our vast library resources and documentation available

Admin Tasks

  • Reviewing member retention data and flagging any suggestions for improvement
  • Reviewing comments/messages on public social media challenges and flagging responses for the team.
  • Collect comments/links live on the call to share as a resource with attendees later.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with online communities
  • Basic understanding of social media marketing
  • A quiet work environment including: A modern computer, Modern smartphone, High-speed internet, Webcam, and headphones

This role is for you if:

  • You’re a Zoom.us pro! You know how to start a call, be on video, and handle the chat.
  • You love people. You love meeting people, having small talk, and initiating conversations.
  • You empathize with the challenges small business owners face and are excited to help them overcome obstacles.
