All of the pink around here probably clued you into the fact that am obsessed with all things girly and cliche. I seriously love embracing my feminine side, something that sometimes isn't encouraged in traditional career paths.
So, in a flurry of travel late last year, I stumbled across the beautiful Cara Alwill Leyba‘s Instagram page. I felt like I met a soul sister. “Who is this women who is so unashamed to be herself and rock her talents?” I thought to myself. So I dug deeper, followed her on snapchat, signed up for her newsletter, and almost literally stalked her on every other social media platform I could find her on.
Cara's inspiring message and no-nonsense style encourages me and validates my own choices as a business women. I also love how she focuses on lifting up other women… after all, there is plenty business for out there for all of us to thrive!
Being that it was right around the time her new book came out, I also grabbed it as soon as I could get my hands on it (plus I also bought her other book Fearless & Fabulous — another great read).
